a set of circumstances in a capsule of time

About

For Fabrice Strippoli, street photography has been a way of life.  The images in Dark City are the summary of an urban  journey that spans almost 20 years.

Fabrice has a passion for capturing fleeting and spontaneous moments but more importantly, finding the complexities of the city as the activity in the streets displays the mixing of people, places, light and dark.

Dark City is ever evolving as the urban landscape and the people of Toronto, Canada emerge from the light and are tucked into the shadows.

Dark City is prefaced with a short essay ‘Fuse Ignition’ by Kambili Husbands and a postlude by Jean Raphael Heckly.
